For Kodachrome, waiting to see your images is either -
a) a regrettable show-stopping, requirement, or
b) an integral part of your photographic experience.
(On flickr.com, my user name is "dried_squid".)
I mailed to Dwayne's Mon Apr 13 in Honolulu, I eagerly checked the mailbox yesterday Thu Apr 23. I hope to see my slides and scans today Fri Apr 24.
Includes KM 25's from Dan. With shots wide-open at f/2 on a tripod using the self-timer.

There really is a flickr group for everything isn't there? I belong to way too many as it is. Guess one more won't hurt.

flickr.com is my concession to "Web 2.0". But I do enjoy flickr.com. And I spend my time there. Recently, I've been monitoring my time there.
I'm not a big Internet guru. I use it daily, but personal computing is more important to me than internet connectivity.
Personally, I don't think the Internet saves me money. A resource yes, but the savings is on the distributor end, not for me, the consumer.
And then of course, since I believe in Kodachrome on my way to a print, I believe the Internet, and photo-sharing sites like flickr.com, are a big reason why film, like Kodachrome, as a medium is less popular. For many people now, the digital file is the end product. Unlike me, where the slide is the final product, and print or scan is simply a distribution.
Have a good weekend.

yup, I'm on Flickr and I'm in the "I Shoot Film" group. I saw that topic you mentioned.
By the way, I hope this is ok, but here is my flickr page. ALL of my pictures were taken with film - 35mm and 120 size roll film. I developed the B&W film myself. I don't have any Kodachrome shots posted though. (not yet)

I'm on so many websites and forums now that I seriously don't know how I'm going to keep track of everything!
Photo.net, APUG.org, Flickr, and now this site. And I'm also on a couple of Yahoo groups and YouTube.

There's only 24 hours in a day. Everybody want's a piece.
I try things, but commit to less. I try more things, but drop out faster. Guess it's a sign of the times, my touch with technology, and older friends.
Nowadays I tend to do less things, but pursue learning more about the same things. And learning takes time.
The group is about time, guess that's what caught my interest. It's the Concept.
Take care,
Brian

I haven't logged on here in several weeks, but I haven't forgot. I've weeded myself down to primarily three sites. Here, flickr, & RFF. Right now my work is averaging around 50 + hours a week...not complaining of course.
