One of the more extreme aspects of my Kodachrome project is using 120 format PKR. As we know, this film cannot be processed as such anymore, but if you slit it down to 35mm width (or narrower) Dwayne's will happily take it.
I shot a roll of 120 in a 6x6 camera, then slit out the top and bottom of the film, leaving the 35mm middle part. This gives me 56x35 mm images, actually more than twice the size of a normal 36x24 slide. If you do this with a 6x9 camera you can have even bigger panorama shaped images.
This was basically a proof of concept roll; no important images, just snapping away. Here's my favorite shot from the experiment:

There's been a light leak at some point; you see the discolored part of the sky on the upper part of the image. I'm not sure what has caused it. The entire roll is affected. I need to try this again and be more careful and see if the problem persists...
This film has an expiry date of 3/1989 and does have a magenta cast, but not too bad. The scan is somewhat color corrected.
