    Ek,
I posted some pics I took with Ektar on my web site and I put the link on Apug. Hundreds of hits which is cool, but three hits were from Kodak in Rochester NY. Very cool.

Yes. I love it and I have some very special pictures. I have not done it for years.I need to get back into it. Watching your print come to life in the tray is magical.
Slides and B&W are two of the great joys of photography. I never try to tell other people how to enjoy photography, but personally I become less interested in digital every day. If I see one more HDR landscape I might puke.

Wow! Those are some nice portraits! Have you ever tried to shoot black and white and develop it yourself?

Hmm..what film..I think Portra or the Fuji Pro stuff when I shoot people and slide film for everything else. The lenses are slow so 400 or even 800 iso. But since the film is so darn big, you still don't see any grain. Ektar will be fun.
I shot some pics yesterday. These are Fuji Pro 400H. I bought a bunch of it shortdated. I used my Nikon F100 and my 50 1.4 AF-D. I metered off my gray bulkhead, set my camera on manual and then shot all of these at 1/125 and f5.6.

My friend owes me 400 bucks. Hopefully he will pay up soon and I can get my lens.

Congrats! I have grown to love MF. I can see why so many people go nuts wishing for MF Kodachromes. You may want to check for used lenses on places like ebay.....

I finally bought a medium format camera today. I got a Mamiya 7ii but I didn't have enough money for a lens! Oh well. Can't wait to see what comes out of this baby.

    Ek,
I took some pictures of some girls that are now on my website. It was so much fun. Check out the Jet & Jay folder. Some have too many shadows from not being in the shade, but I learned a lot.

I also have been shooting a lot of slide film lately. I took a gorgeous slide I had to my lab and for 5 bucks they made a 5x7 out of it. It looked exactly like the slide. I was thrilled. They popped it right into the processor. I know it won't look as good as the chromes, but the price and convenience is right.

Everything will be fine. Kodachrome is just one part of photography. There is lots left. It was just a means of expressing yourself artistically. The art inside of you isn't going away it will just have to use a different vehicle to get out.

Well yes, i shot one roll recently. It just came back and I'm very pleased with the results I have only viewed them under the magnifying glas. I'm going to get a projector and a scanner so that i can view and publish my results. Looking forward to shoot more one kodachrome!

I'm pretty new to Kodachrome, I just shot my first roll of 64 a couple weeks ago on a vacation and now I'm hooked!

I shot the "chatting" photo in the Dominican Republic after a rain storm in the late afternoon. I liked the red on the guy's shoulder. Not the best shot, I know, but the much larger scanned file is much better.

I have tons of Kodachrome slides that were processed at A&I a number of years ago, that I will get around to scanning.
